With Twilio browser calling enabled in Aptly, you can make and receive calls directly from your browser—no external phone or softphone required. This helps keep all communication tied to your contacts, cards, and workflows in one place.

Ways to Make a Call

You can initiate a call from multiple areas in Aptly. The experience is the same—only the entry point differs.

Option 1: From the Global Menu

1. Click the + (plus) icon at the top of your screen
2. Select New Call

New Call dialer (composite of actual UI crops): 1. Dialer / Recent calls; 2. Calling From (selected number omitted); 3. Agent Number / Call from browser; 4. blank contact-or-number search; 5. disabled Call button. This shows the dialer before a call, not active-call controls.

Option 2: From a Contact

• Open a contact record
• Click the phone number to start a call

Option 3: From a Card

1. Open a card
2. Click the airplane icon
3. Select Call
